Crime and COVID-19 stories dominated the top-10 most viewed articles in 2020 on the Kent Reporter website.

The bizarre crime of a man who allegedly killed two people, cut up their bodies and put the parts in suitcases had the most pageviews, according to Google Analytics.

A Kent man who reportedly pimped more than 150 women, a story that appeared in 2019 on the website, continued to draw a lot of views.

A sad story about a 12-year-old girl who died trying to help her mother during a seizure in their car attracted the third most views, although the top three stories each had similar numbers of readers.

The impact of COVID-19 led to several most-viewed stories, including the layoffs at REI, the death numbers in local cities, the state’s waiver of make-up days and the city of Kent’s closure of parks.

Here are the top 10 most viewed stories on the Kent Reporter’s website for 2020, according to Google Analytics:
