Kent Mayor Dana Ralph and City Council members Toni Troutner, Satwinder Kaur and Brenda Fincher were sworn in after all four were reelected to four-year terms.

Ralph, Troutner and Kaur were present at the Jan. 4 City Council meeting while Fincher was sworn in via Zoom.

Ralph is beginning her second term as mayor after six years on the council. Voters also reelected Troutner and Kaur to their second terms.

The council appointed Fincher in 2014 to replace Ken Sharp, who resigned after just two weeks in office because of first-degree theft charges. Fincher defeated Troutner in a 2015 election and was reelected in 2017.
