Sophomore quarterback Ben Woods threw for 255 yards and three touchdown passes, directing Kent-Meridian to a 37-9 rout of Kentlake in a South Puget Sound League Northeast 4A game Friday night at French Field.

Junior Shamar Malik Woolery ran for 132 rushing yards and two TDs for the Royals (1-0 division, 3-1 overall).

Marc Dennis caught two TDs from Woods.

Kentlake is 2-2 on the season.

K-M takes on Kentridge next Friday at 7 p.m.
