Chemicals harm Clark Lake, and us

I went to Clark Lake on a beautiful Sunday to walk. I was appalled to see a posting that the landscape had been sprayed with Roundup and two other chemicals that they listed as pesticides and herbicides.

I have lived here through the entire saga of Clark Lake becoming a park. I thought it was supposed to be a natural area encouraging wildlife, birds and people. I stopped a young family with two babies and pointed out the sign. They left immediately and I did as well.

Have you read the studies on these products? What are you thinking? I cannot imagine any benefit to the area that outweighs the risk. Please stop spraying at Clark Lake.
