Kent drivers to face James Street traffic delays

Kent drivers will face construction traffic delays over the next five months along East James Street, also known as South 240th Street.

Work started Wednesday on the James Street hill between Central Avenue North and 102nd Avenue Southeast to replace a water main. Crews will shut down multiple lanes impacting westbound and eastbound travel.

Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday through Sept. 30.
