Seattle Mist to open women’s football season on April 9 in Kent

The Seattle Mist women’s football team opens the Legends Football League season against the Austin Acoustic at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 9 at the ShoWare Center in Kent.
Seattle won its first league title last season when it beat the Chicago Bliss 27-21. Star quarterback KK Matheny and top defensive player Danika Brace return for the Mist.
The league, formerly the Lingerie Football League, features seven-on-seven tackle football.
Doors open at 7 p.m., and early-arriving fans will receive limited edition team posters.
Tickets are $65 for field Level, $45 for lower sideline, $35 for lower end zone, $25 for upper sideline, $30 for the MistFits Party Zone and $15 for upper end zone.
MistFits Party Zone is general admission, standing-room only in the north end zone and includes access to a private beer garden.
