Kent-Midway Post Office closes due to strip-mall fire

Post Office Box users and retail customers who use the Kent-Midway Post Office, 23418 Pacific Highway S., may pick-up their mail and purchase postal products and services at the Kent Downtown Post Office, 216 W. Gowe St.
The Kent-Midway location closed after it and several businesses were heavily damaged during a Sunday fire, according to a U.S. Postal Service media release about where customers can go to get their mail. Fire roared through the business complex on Sunday afternoon.
Kent Regional Fire Authority investigators on Monday were trying to determine the cause of the fire.
