Delores Brown

Delores Brown, 73, a long-time resident of public housing and community advocate who served as a commissioner for the King County Housing Authority, died February 25, 2010 at Valley Medical Center of congestive heart failure. In addition to her role as a commissioner, she also enjoyed reading and gardening. Delores was preceded in death by her beloved dog, Honey. She is survived by her children Joseph Hinkley; Vickie Baines, Michael Hinkley and Helen Hinkley of Tacoma; Nancy Martell of Sundown, Texas; and Sandi Hinkley of Ashland City, Tenn.; ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
