Concert featuring rapper Rick Ross cancelled at ShoWare Center in Kent

The I Am Legend concert featuring rapper Rick Ross scheduled for June 3 at the ShoWare Center in Kent has been cancelled.

There was a scheduling problem from what the promoter told us, said Tim Higgins, ShoWare general manager, in a phone interview Thursday.

“We are trying to reschedule for the fall,” Higgins said.

Ross was to perform along with special guests Slick Rick, Rob Base and Mann.

Refunds to credit cards are automatic, according to ShoWare Center officials. Anyone who paid in cash can return the tickets to the arena box office for a refund.
