Auburn High School honored their former boys basketball team manager, Bobby Vogel, before their home game against Auburn Mountainview on Nov. 30.

Vogel served as the boys basketball team manager for nearly 20 years before he died in September at age 78.

In between the girls and boys varsity basketball games, the school celebrated Vogel’s legacy with a video tribute, unveiling of the concession stand name, and raffle prizes from some of Vogel’s favorite places in Auburn.

During the nearly 20 years Vogel served as the team manager, he never missed a game, and only missed a handful of practices. He was known as the basketball team’s number one fan and was loved by the students and faculty.
