Blood donations needed at Kent Station pop-up site

People who donate blood Dec. 1-31 at the Kent Station shopping center and other locations can register to win a 75-inch Samsung television from Bloodworks Northwest.

Bloodworks is offering the holiday giveaway, a winner will be randomly drawn in January, to encourage more donations.

There are many open slots at the Kent Station site on Dec. 11, 14, 17, 22, 23, 27 and 30. Spots are available between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The Kent Station pop-up donation site is at Suite 103, 438 Ramsay Way, across from Windermere. People who donate will receive 10% off a purchase at TOGO’s Sandwich shop and at Johnny Rockets or 15% off of a food purchase at Dukes Seafood with proof of donation.

Appointments and masks are required at all donation sites and nobody under the age of 16 is permitted onsite. There is no deferral from donating after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine.
