Kentwood, Kentridge fall in state 4A semifinals | Prep baseball

Michael Wood tossed six shutout innings, striking out nine, as South Kitsap silenced Kentwood 1-0 in a state Class 4A baseball semifinal in Pasco on Friday.

South Kitsap will pay Skyview, which defeated Kentridge 10-0 in the other semifinal, in today’s 7 p.m. championship game

Jordan Jones pitched a gem for Kentwood, allowing one run on six hits with seven strikeouts in six innings of work.

Mike Ciancio went 2-for-2 for the Conquerors.

Cody Wolfe’s RBI sacrifice fly in the fourth inning accounted for the only run of the game.
