Fireworks out of control

When my neighbors on the EastHill in Kent started the Fourth of July fireworks on the evening of the third, I called 911. What I found was very disturbing.

You can legally torture my dog from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m., but as no one does anything about it, you can illegally continue to torture him for several more hours and begin the torture again on July 5 and July 6.

This is barbaric. When will we grow up and ban fireworks in Kent altogether?
