James King and the Southsiders play blues music from 8 p.m. to midnight Jan. 28 at Pat’s Bar and Grill, 114 Railroad Ave. N. The bar features the rock and dance music of The Busby Band from 8 p.m. to midnight Jan. 29.

The John Denver Tribute and Variety Show featuring Ted Vigil entertains starting at 7 p.m. Jan. 29 at Charley’s on Central, 1734 Central Ave. S.

There is no cover charge at either venue.
