Sound Transit to close northbound I-5 off-ramp in Kent to S. 272nd

Drivers won’t be able to use the northbound Interstate 5 off-ramp to South 272nd Street from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26 to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 29.

Sound Transit contractors will close the off-ramp for three days to complete sign restoration along I-5 north, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT). Follow the signed detour route to exit northbound I-5 at SR 99 and Kent Des Moines Road.

The closure will be around the clock. Times and dates of the closure are tentative and subject to change.
