Boeing Employees Choir to perform benefit concert June 1

The Boeing Employees Choir Benefit Concert is 7 p.m. June 1 at Kent United First Methodist Church, 11010 SE 248th St.

The public is invited.

The concert of Bach to Broadway tunes will benefit M-Power Youth, a South King County community-led partnership of musicians who want to transform the lives of at-risk youth by teaching them how to play instruments and introduce them to the arts.

The group is seeking to enlist teachers, volunteers and seed money to buy instruments and provide startup help.
