Kent commercial furniture company names new general manager

Kent-based JH Carr, a division of Foldcraft Co., named Shane Patrick on Aug. 4 as general manager of the commercial furniture manufacturer and upholsterer.

Shane Patrick is the new general manager at Kent's JH Carr

Kent-based JH Carr, a division of Foldcraft Co., named Shane Patrick on Aug. 4 as general manager of the commercial furniture manufacturer and upholsterer at 8311 S. 200th St., that serves the food service and hospitality industries.

Patrick joins Carr from BiNW, a Herman Miller dealer based in Seattle where he worked since 1989. He also is the Peninsula High School girls basketball coach after previously coaching at Sumner High School.

Headquartered in Burnsville, Minn., Foldcraft is an employee-owned company with manufacturing facilities in Minnesota, Washington, and California. Serving the food service for over 65 years, Foldcraft makes seating and millwork products for a wide range of chain customers that include Subway, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dairy Queen and PF Chang’s restaurants.
