Celebrate Halloween at Kent Station’s Haunted Boo-Levard

Safe trick-or-treating, festive fun and a brand-new attraction during Oct. 31 event

Kent Station shopping center promises a spooky night filled with haunted houses, eerie decorations and thrilling scares at Haunted Boo-Levard.

The free event runs from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 at Kent Station, 417 Ramsay Way. Costumes are encouraged. Kent Station, in partnership with the city of Kent, will present the event.

“Enjoy an evening filled with safe trick-or-treating, festive fun, and a brand-new attraction you won’t want to miss,” according to Kent Station.

A Creepy CarnEvil Haunted House will go from 4 to 8 p.m. Step inside for a spooky-fun haunted house experience with vibrant carnival décor, stilt walkers and classic carnival-style games.

The Haunted Boo-Levard from 5 to 8 p.m. will feature a Trunk-or-Treat & Candy Crawl: Stroll Ramsay Way to collect candy from decorated trunks, festive booths and participating tenants. A map of Candy Crawl locations will be provided at the event.

The best decorated trunk or booth will be honored from 7:45 to 8 p.m. All participating trunks, booths, and Candy Crawl stations are entered to win prizes in these categories: Best Theme, the most creative overall concept; Most Festive, bright, colorful and full of Halloween spirit; and Most Original, unique idea or design that stands out from the crowd.
