Participants sought for Kent International Festival

Applications are being accepted for performers, fashion show participants, arts and crafts vendors and information booth operators for the third annual Kent International Festival.

Applications are being accepted for performers, fashion show participants, arts and crafts vendors and information booth operators for the third annual Kent International Festival.

The festival is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 18 at Town Square Plaza, at the corner of Second Avenue and Smith Street in downtown Kent.

Application deadline is April 30. The Kent International Festival is produced by an non-profit group.

The festival provides a platform for different cultures to gather and demonstrate their talents that they have been practicing all year. All performances are provided by local and regional studios, organizations and the Kent School District students on a volunteer basis.
