Seattle’s own Macklemore takes the Washington State Fair’s Grandstand stage on Friday, Sept. 25, part of the 2020 Columbia Bank Concert Series.

Country artist Cole Swindell performs Sept. 24.

GEMINI, Macklemore’s first solo effort in 12 years, was released in September 2017. It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and No. 1 on the charts for rap, R&B/hip hop and independent albums. The album follows two releases with producer Ryan Lewis: the multiple Grammy award winning albums “The Heist” and the 2016 release, “This Unruly Mess I’ve Made” (featuring the Platinum-certified single “Downtown”). GEMINI includes Platinum-certified singles “Glorious” (featuring Skylar Grey), “Good Old Days” (featuring Kesha), and the Gold-certified “Marmalade” (featuring Lil Yachty).

Collectively Macklemore’s music videos have been viewed more than 3 billion times and he is one of only two rappers to have a Diamond-certified single. In the past year, the Seattle rapper appeared on NBC’s hit show “Songland,” and was featured on the smash record from Martin Garrix “Summer Days.” This past December, Macklemore released a new Holiday song, “It’s Christmas Time,” performed on Ellen, and recently became the newest owner of the Seattle Sounders (MLS).

Swindell, a Platinum-selling recording artist and record-breaking 11-time No. 1 singer/songwriter, has racked up an impressive and incomparable record-breaking eight No. 1 singles, 10 No. 1 singles as a songwriter, 1 billion audience reaching single (“You Should Be Here”), six Platinum singles, a Platinum-certified debut album (Cole Swindell) and so much more!

The Georgia native has released his third album, “All of It,” for Warner Bros. Records/Warner Music Nashville, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Album Chart and No. 7 on the Billboard Top 200. The first single, “Break Up In The End,” was the most added song on country radio the week it was released and currently sits in the top 5 on the country radio charts and is still climbing.
