Trunk or Treat set for Oct. 31 at Pacific Raceways in Kent

Free drive-thru event; trunk hosts wanted

The second annual Trunk or Treat at Pacific Raceways in Kent is set for noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31.

There are two ways to participate in the free event at the track, 31001 144th Ave. SE. You can drive thru and see the decorated cars or be one of the decorated cars. Youth groups, school groups, car clubs, children’s organizations, church volunteers and others are welcome to participate.

The drive-thru route will keep everyone in their vehicles. Each child will receive a bag of candy at the end of the Trunk-or-Treat route.

At the end of the route, there will be a spot for drive-thru family pictures. The track has a Health Protection Plan in place, which will include all staff wearing masks, guests wearing masks if they get out of their vehicles (restrooms), as well as maintaining social distancing.

With more than 500 children in attendance last year, Pacific Raceways is looking for donations, sponsorships and lots (and lots) of Trunk Hosts. If you or someone you know typically volunteers with a group who hosts a trunk or treat but find COVID restrictions for the 2020 events have caused you to cancel, call the track at 253-639-5927, Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or email Diana at dianah@pacifcraceways.com.

This event is hosted my ML Racing Legends and Pacific Raceways. All sponsors will be recognized on the Pacific Raceways Facebook page, the event flyer and along the driving route of the Trunk or Treat. All donations are tax deductable: ML Racing Legends, EIN: 82-3656041
