Ugly Sweater Tasting Event set for downtown Kent on Dec. 3

Try wine, beer, spirits and cider

Take part in the Ugly Sweater Tasting Event presented by the Kent Downtown Partnership from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3.

Dress in your best ugly sweater or holiday attire and win prizes, according to the Kent Downtown Partnership. Downtown businesses are kicking off the holiday season with a fun tasting event featuring wine, spirits, beer and cider, and live entertainment. You can stock up for the holidays with tax free bottle purchases.

Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door. For tickets online, go to downtownkentwa.com. A ticket includes 10 tastings, tax free bottles sale, disposal glass, wrist band and program guide.

The tasting requires a ticket and is for people ages 21 and older. Shops and restaurants are open during the event as participants go from business to business to get their tastings.

Beverage vendors include Castle & Crown Cellars, Heritage Distilling Company, Glass Vodka, Mac and Jack’s Brewery, 4Good Hard Seltzer and Vibe Cellars.

The W Lovers, an Americana music duo, and Johnny & the Black Crabs, a rock ‘n’ roll band, will provide the entertainment.

The check-in location is the Titusville Building, 202 W.Gowe St.
