City of Kent announces Summer Concert Series lineup

Latin jazz, folk tunes, bluesy rock, extraordinary juggling and a pirate will grace Kent stages as part of the city of Kent's annual Summer Concert Series.

Latin jazz, folk tunes, bluesy rock, extraordinary juggling and a pirate will grace Kent stages as part of the city of Kent’s annual Summer Concert Series.

Kent’s free summer concerts go from July 7 to Aug. 26 and provide 17 opportunities to enjoy live performance in three outdoor locations.

Concerts and performances for kids are at noon Wednesdays. Adults and families can enjoy their favorite types of music on Tuesdays at noon and Thursday evenings.

In addition to the concerts, movies come to downtown Kent’s Town Square Plaza with Summer Nights and the Silver Screen.
