Man fatally shot in Tukwila near Southcenter Mall

Friday afternoon, July 28; vehicle flees scene on Strander Boulevard

A man was fatally shot Friday afternoon, July 28 in the 200 block of Strander Boulevard in Tukwila, just south of the Westfield Southcenter Mall.

The shooting was around 3 p.m. and the man died at the scene, according to Tukwila Police. A suspect fled the scene in a vehicle immediately following the shooting and was not located.

No other details were released.

The Tukwila Police Major Crimes Unit detectives are investigating.
