Northbound State Route 167 express toll lane to extend to Sumner

6-mile extension to begin Jan. 12; only the left lane will be tolled

Drivers on Jan. 12 will see the northbound State Route 167 express toll lane extend 6 miles farther south to SR 410 in Sumner.

Like the rest of SR 167, only the left lane is tolled, and carpoolers can still use the left lane toll-free, but you will need a Good To Go! Flex Pass to mark your trip as a carpool, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

If you don’t have a Flex Pass set to HOV mode, then you will get a bill for your trip regardless of how many people were in the car. Motorcycles will need a Motorcycle Pass to avoid the toll.

WSDOT is giving out Flex Passes and Motorcycle Passes for free right now, so visit www.GoodToGo167.com to get a promo code for a free pass and find out more about how to use the new express toll lane.
