Doris May Shepherd (Dalitz) passed away peacefully on October 15, 2017. She was born on July 17th in Cleveland, Ohio. Doris attended Kent State University were she met her husband Edwin Shepherd, Jr. After living in Kent, OH, Boulder, CO and Mesquite TX they eventually settled in Clarendon Hills, Illinois with their 4 children. At the time of her death she was residing in Seattle, Washington near her family and extended family. Doris is survived by her son Edwin Shepherd, III (Cheryl), daughter Elizabeth Shepherd (Scott Kinsloe), daughter Polly Shepherd (Gregory Girard), grandson Cory Shepherd (Danielle), granddaughter Lindsey Shepherd (Joshua Frankland) and great grandson Shepherd Frankland. She is preceded in death by her husband Edwin Shepherd, Jr. and son Paul E. Shepherd. A private service will be held in Seattle, Washington.
