Maria Augusta Simeona
Our beloved mother Maria Augusta Simeona passed away peacefully on June 6, 2016 after a long battle with dementia.
Maria was born on February 26, 1926 in Bavaria, Germany, eventually moving to Berlin.
WWII happened and her family was caught in the middle of it. After the war she met a dark handsome American soldier who became her husband. She started a whole new life learning a new language and culture when she relocated to Hawaii to start a family. Later settling down in Kent, WA after her husband retired from the Army. Maria loved living in Kent because it reminded her of Bavaria country.
She was an amazing wife, mother, and oma! She will be truly missed by her 4 children, 8 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.
She is laid to rest next to her beloved husband at Tahoma National Cemetery.
