Ruth Rumann was born to Rev. Harold and Lucille Walker in Mitchell, SD in 1929, the oldest of 5 children.
She met her husband, Richard, in Nampa, ID, while they were both attending college. They were married in Corvuso, MN, with their first home in Litchfield, MN. Six children were born to Richard and Ruth. In September of 1965 the family moved to Marsing, ID, and the following spring of 1966 they moved to a new home in Kent, WA.
Ruth worked for Boeing and the Kent School District.
Ruth is survived by 6 children, 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 sibling, and was preceded in death by her husband, 3 siblings, and 1 grandchild.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 10:30AM at Hillside Nazarene Church located at 930 East James St, Kent. Memorials may be given to the Richard and Ruth Rumann Music Scholarship at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, ID, or to Hospice Services of Spokane, WA.
