Protesters with the group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals organized a rally Thursday outside the Kent ShoWare Center, protesting Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and their use of animals in shows. The circus is performing at ShoWare through Monday. The protesters held signs and handed out informational fliers to passersby.
