Billings crushes Kent Predators in Indoor Football League game – See the Slide Show

Chris Dixon threw four touchdown passes and rushed for two scores to lead the Billings Outlaws to a 54-30 win over the Kent Predators in a professional Indoor Football League game April 30 at the ShoWare Center.

The Predators dropped their second consecutive game after three straight wins. They are 3-5 and in third place in the five-team Pacific North Division.

Billings, the defending IFL champion, improved its division-leading record to 7-1.

Dixon threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score to help give the Outlaws a 28-12 halftime lead.

In the second half, Dixon continued to dominate the game with two touchdown passes to James Walton. Dixon completed 16 of 23 passes for 160 yards. Defensive lineman Mike Bazemore led the Outlaws with six tackles and two sacks.

Kent quarterback Charles McCullum completed 17 of 31 passes for 148 yards and three touchdowns. He rushed for 9 yards on six carries with one touchdown.

The Predators play May 8 at the Tri-Cities Fever. Kent returns home to play the Fairbanks Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m. May 14 at the ShoWare Center.
