Battle of the Chefs event postponed

Organizers of The Battle of the Chefs competition scheduled for May 23 at the ShoWare Center in Kent have postponed the event to a date to be determined in October.

“Interest (participant, vendor, volunteer) has grown to the extent that they decided they needed more time to present a truly exceptional event,” said Beth Sylves, ShoWare director of marketing, in a May 4 e-mail. “They are targeting a Sunday in October to be determined.”
