Join the Kent Reporter for lunch Friday at the Kent Senior Activity Center; meet the publisher and editor

Join Kent Reporter Editor Laura Pierce and Publisher Polly Shepherd for lunch Friday, June 4, at the Kent Senior Activity Center.

We’re teaming up to support the senior center’s lunch program, which is open Monday through Friday to the public, and as a way to talk with anybody who’d like to hear about the newspaper, or who would like to share story ideas and their thoughts with us!

We’ll be at the center from noon to 1 p.m. Friday.

This will be our first in a regular lunch date we’ll have every week at the center. We’ll be available to whomever would like to speak with us about the community, or other newsworthy topics.

Please join us! You can support your senior center’s community lunch program, as well as get to know a bit more about your local weekly newspaper, the Kent Reporter.

Time and date: Noon, June 4.

Place: Kent Senior Activity Center, 600 E. Smith St., Kent

Cost: $6 if you are buying a lunch
