Mayor Suzette Cooke joined Kent’s Rainier Youth Choirs for their Home for the Holidays concert on Saturday.

The choirs gathered 210 items and $102 for the Kent Food Bank.

Older RYC members will perform on the sold-out Argosy Christmas Ship departing from the Des Moines Marina on Wednesday. There is still room on the parade boat that follows the Christmas Ship. Reserve your spot online.

Rainier Youth Choirs is a nonprofit, community-based organization with no religious affiliation that offers a youth choral music education and performance program for boys and girls, which is affordable, exceptional and family-friendly.

Chorus levels are available for singers in grades 4 through college.
