Developer plans to build 30 homes in Kent; public hearing set

A public hearing about a proposal to build 30 single-family homes in the 24400 block of 98th Avenue South is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 2 at Kent City Hall. 220 Fourth Ave. S.
James Waltier, of Harbour Homes, LLC, plans to subdivide three parcels on the East Hill totaling 4.2 acres into 30 single-family residential lots, according to city documents. The development is known as the Bandon East subdivision.
The property has a single-family home and an outbuilding, both of which will be removed. The property is zoned SR-8 (eight homes per acre) for single family residential. The site is at 24459 98th Ave. S.
The public hearing is before the city hearing examiner in Council Chambers West at City Hall.
