Kent Mayor Cooke to play against Globetrotters on Valentine’s Day

Kent Mayor Suzette Cooke will suit up to take on the Harlem Globetrotters at the ShoWare Center on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Cooke will join the infamous Washington General during the Harlem Globetrotters 2015 “Washington Generals’ Revenge” Tour. The Globetrotters will face a great challenge against Mayor Cooke and the Generals, who are more determined than ever to match their franchise’s last victory over the Globetrotters in 1971.

The Globetrotters will donate to Kent Youth and Family Services in Mayor Cooke’s name to witness the exciting matchup at the ShoWare Center.
