Green River Trail officially reopens

Kent Mayor Suzette Cooke and employees from Raleigh Bicycles celebrated the reopening of the Green River Trail on May 14.

A portion of the trail between South 180th Street and South 200th Street closed in March 2014 for levee construction and reopened earlier this year.

A banner in support of the trail was hung from the Accell North America building, 6004 S 190th Street in Kent, which is where Raleigh Bicycles is headquartered.

Raleigh hosted a support stop along the trail on May 15 for riders participating in National Bike to Work Day.
