Kent’s Relay for Life raises nearly $66,000

Kent’s annual Relay for Life, a benefit for the American Cancer Society, drew 49 teams and 394 people, raising nearly $66,000 so far, according to organizers.

The relay event at French Field spanned May 29 to May 30.

In its 17 years, the Kent Relay for Life has brought in $2.5 million to help in the fight against cancer.
