Kent School District offers child find screenings

The Kent School District will offer free child find screenings for children ages 3-5 who may have a disability.
Screenings will be Aug. 31, Sept. 11, Sept. 25, Oct. 30, Dec. 4, Jan. 15, Jan. 29, March 18, April 15, April 22 and May 13 at various schools in the district.
Children will be screened for speech and language, vision, hearing, learning and motor development. Those found with conditions that interfere with their education development will receive inclusive education services through the Kent School District.
At least one parent must accompany the child to the screening. Screenings take about 1.5 hours and are conducted by certificated staff.
