Kent CROP Hunger Walk set for Oct. 4

The Kent CROP Hunger Walk – a benefit to fight poverty and hunger throughout the world and in the community – is 1 p.m. Oct. 4 at Kent Lutheran Church, 336 Second Ave.

The group will gather at 12:30 p.m. for a walk through downtown Kent and along the Green River and Interurban trails.

Funds raised will support Church World Service, the Kent Food Bank, the men of HOME and the Monday Night Kent Community Supper program.
