Kent Youth and Family Services gala set for Oct. 24

Kent Youth and Family Services celebrates its 45th anniversary with The One Thing Experience, a fundraising gala Oct. 24 at the Renton Pavilion Event Center,
Registration opens at 5:45 p.m., followed by a social hour at 6 and dinner and a Jet City Improv performance at 7 p.m.
KYFS, a nonprofit organization, has helped shape the social fabric of the community, working every day to ensure every child in the Kent School District has access to high quality mental health services and substance abuse treatment. It also has worked to ensure every kid living in the three King County Housing Authority sites in Kent has access to after-school services, and provides caring early learning opportunities and when/if necessary transitional housing for homeless single moms and their kids in the community.
The pavilion is at 233 Burnett Ave. S. Renton.
Cost is $50 per person. Event sponsorships are available.
