Kent Police set community meeting for Oct. 15

Residents can find out about the operations of the Kent Police at a community meeting hosted by the police department at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15 at Panther Lake Elementary School, 10200 SE 216th St., on the East Hill.
The focus of this meeting is to bring police leadership and community members together to address crime concerns and introduce the resources that the police can provide to assist residents in making their neighborhoods safer. In addition, Police Chief Ken Thomas and department personnel will answer questions about department operations and take input regarding specific issues within the city.
