The Kent 50+ Program hosts its seventh Music and Dinner at Kent Place event Thursday, March 31 at the Kent Senior Activity Center, 600 E. Smith St., from 4 to 8 p.m.

The event features Danny Vernon’s Elvis Inspirational Concert, along with workshops, informational booths, boxed dinner and door prizes.

Danny Vernon, one of the world’s top tribute artists, will perform many Elvis tunes including inspirational songs not often heard during Elvis tribute shows. Concert entrance will also be based on ticket numbers for the 7 p.m. show.

Kirk Larson, Social Security Administration public affairs representative, will present a workshop at 4 p.m. and help pre-registered guests sign up for MySocialSecurity Web accounts at 5 p.m. Liz Mercer, Medicare trainer for the Washington Insurance Commissioner’s office, will conduct a workshop at 5 p.m.

Workshops are open to all but priority is given to guests who have purchased event tickets.

Mitzel’s American Kitchen boxed dinners include a rotisserie roasted turkey on wheat sandwich, chips, fruit and cookie. A vegetarian sandwich option must be requested when tickets are purchased.
