A shooter remains at large after firing shots that injured a 24-year-old Seattle man late Wednesday afternoon at the Walgreens parking lot on Kent’s East Hill.
“It does not appear to be random,” said Kent Police spokesman Jarod Kasner, in an email Thursday afternoon. “We are still working through the investigation on the sequence of events that led up to the shots being fired.”
The shooting occurred at about 4:20 p.m at 25605 104th Ave. S.E. Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital.
“The suspect fled the area and is not in custody,” Kasner said. “We are not releasing any further details at this time.”
