Kent-based Blue Origin tweeted “Congrats” on Friday to three Arizona State University student-led payload projects chosen to launch into space on the aerospace company’s New Shepard space vehicle later this year.

Blue Origin’s facility covers about 260,000 square feet on 26 acres at 21218 76th Ave. S. Engineering, manufacturing and business teams work at the facility. The company in December purchased 31 acres for $14.1 million across the street for a new manufacturing facility.

Blue Origin employs about 750 in Kent.
