Kent School District hosts budget public hearing continuation Friday

The Kent School Board continues its work on the 2018-19 budget with a special session and public testimony period at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24 in the district’s board room, 12033 SE 256th St.

The hearing was added to ensure that school can start on time and the school board can adopt a budget before the state deadline of Aug. 31. Public comment will be accepted.

The school board turned down the proposed budget at its meeting Wednesday night.
