Report: Seven Kent schools make the list of the 100 best elementary schools in the region

Millennium and Emerald Park led a Kent contingent that made the list of the 100 best elementary schools in the Puget Sound region, according to the Puget Sound Business Journal’s annual rankings.
The Puget Sound Business Journal’s rankings are based on academics, racial and economic diversity, class size and years of teacher experience.
Seven Kent schools made this year’s list of the best elementary schools in the region. Millennium was ranked No. 23, Emerald Park at No. 27, followed by Martin Sortun (42), Ridgewood (43), Sunrise (56), Glendridge (60) and Sawyer Woods (83).
For the second year in a row, Stanley Elementary in Tacoma was ranked No. 1.
