Bad move: Felon arrested after long police pursuit on Kent’s West Hill

An alert Kent Police officer recognized a known criminal with felony warrants in a U-Haul truck on Saturday.

But attempting to stop the truck turned into a long pursuit all over West Hill.

Aigalelei Pua and a 38-year-old woman eventually were caught after they crashed the truck through a fence. The U-Haul ended up being stolen, police said.

No one was injured and both were arrested, police said.
