La Quinta Inn gets $5.5 million renovation | Photos

A full house turned out as the Federal Way Chamber of Commerce welcomed La Quinta Inn & Suites with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Feb. 27.

The property was formerly the Clarion Hotel before undergoing a complete $5.5 million renovation, according to Lana Bulanova, regional director of sales and marketing for Trimark Hospitality. This includes a new state-of-the-art lobby and new breakfast area with all the trimmings.

The new property is located in the heart of Federal Way at 31611 Pete von Reichbauer Way S., across from Town Square Park.

The event was attended by local public officials, including Mayor Jim Ferrell and Deputy Mayor Susan Honda, as well as a large base of local businesses.
