Hand-crafted hobbies are the heroes at the Museum of Flight on Saturday, Nov. 23 as Hobby Day brings together the best in scale models, radio controlled airplanes and historic miniature gaming.

Members of the NorthWest Scale Modelers will show how they are masters of the miniature, with hundreds of new creations and old favorites in scale model aircraft, autos and armor. The National Historic Miniature Gaming Society returns with their special combination of active games using scale models and miniature landscapes, and the Lake Sawyer Hawks Radio Controlled Airplane Club will display their dazzling flyable model aircraft.

Museum visitors can make their own models with the masters, and the miniature gaming tables will be open for all to participate. Hobby Day exhibits and activities are free with admission.

The museum is at at 9404 E. Marginal Way S., Seattle, Exit 158, off Interstate 5 on Boeing Field, halfway between downtown Seattle and Sea-Tac Airport.

The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission for adults is $25; youth 5 through 17 are $16; youth 4 and under are free; seniors 65 and over $21.
