Vishavjit Singh, an artist and cartoonist better known as Sikh Captain America, is on a mission.
His mission is to get us to confront our prejudices by asking, did I judge somebody today? Did I act on my prejudices today?
Singh will speak about stereotypes in our lives as part of the city of Kent’s Equity and Inclusion Speaker Series from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Kent Memorial Park Building, 850 Central Ave. N.
His presentation, which is free, will create space to honestly reflect on the stereotypes in our lives. The ones directed at us and those we direct at others.
